Majority of American Jews Opposed to Military Action Against Iran, AJC Poll Finds
The American Jewish Committee released its annual survey of American Jewish opinion yesterday.
There are a number of interesting findings about Jewish views, on topics that range from Middle East peace, to foreign policy to antisemitism.
One interesting tidbit: Thirty-eight percent of American Jews would support U.S. military action against Iran to prevent it from developing nuclear weapons, while 54 percent are opposed.
The National Jewish Democratic Council has been trumpeting the following findings:
Fifty-four percent of Jewish voters identify themselves as Democrats, up from 48% in 2002, while the proportion who identify themselves as Republicans has decreased to 15% from 18% in 2002.
