An Interfaith Bridge, Built From Krullers

This Sunday’s New York Times featured a heartwarming story of a Muslim man from Egypt and an Orthodox Jewish woman from Borough Park who built a beautiful business partnership out of two Dunkin’ Donuts franchises in Brooklyn. Since their religions share an antipathy toward pig-consumption, they gave away all their profits from pork products, “hers to her synagogue and to Israel, his to the workers as bonuses.”
