The Jewish Newspaper That Thinks It’s Nixon
Brooklyn’s right-wing Jewish Press is soliciting reader suggestions for a new version of its “Enemies List” (its word, not mine) of journalists it doesn’t like. Among the journalists it included last time around, in its 1999 “Enemies List” of “anti-Israel journalists,” were pro-Israel writers, such as Thomas Friedman of The New York Times and the Forward’s Leonard Fein, with whom The Jewish Press happens to disagree.
As a regular reader of The Jewish Press, I would like to make a nomination for this year’s list: the editors of The Jewish Press, for their dogged criticism of Israeli policies and their staunch support of a settlement movement that, left unchecked, would likely lead to the demise of the Jewish state.
Of course, I don’t actually believe that that these things make the editors of The Jewish Press “anti-Israel” (or even my “enemies”). Rather, I think that they simply have different — and more foolish — opinions than I do. (Imagine that, people having different opinions — and about Israel, of all things.)
Also, just so nobody gets the impression that the editors of The Jewish Press are a bunch of sourpusses, they have also been inviting their readers to help compile a “Media Friends List.”

I'll bet the Jewish Press has a bigger readership than you guys. For sure, I would pay for a subscription from there before I would buy one from you.
The "settlement movement that, left unchecked, would likely lead to the demise of the Jewish state."?! Isn't it the anti-"settlement" movement of Israel's enemies which threaten the existence of the Jewish state?
Thomas Friedman and Leonard Fein are pro-Israel?! Who knew?!
Let's all make nice with the enemies. After all, Jews have no enemies, just Friends Waiting To Happen, right?

Um, it's not "the editors" of the Jewsih Press who are soliciting names, but one editor in a column, the media monitor. You maske it sound like an editorial. Also, unless I'm mistaken, these were names submitted by readers, not names chosen by anyone at the Jewish Press.
