Sarah Silverman might shock and offend those who have more delicate sensibilities, but according to her big sister, Rabbi Susan Silverman (who recently penned an article about the comedian in the Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles), The Big S is a mensch.
Sarah will show her love for Israel when she and cast members from her TV series headline “Comedy Without Borders,” a performance benefiting the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies (an organization located on Kibbutz Ketura, where Susan, her husband and their five children live).
AIES is a program dedicated to teaching Israeli, Palestinian and American students about environmental issues facing the Middle East. The performance, which also features Rosanne Barr, will be held November 29 at the University of Southern California.

Good for her! She's a "shein idish meidl" who's exciting to watch. She and Jimmy Kimmel are a real power couple. http://khazarheritage.blogspot.com/
I have not received my copy of the Forward in the past three weeks. I am confident that my subscription had not expired. And if it did expire, I never received a renewal notice. Please advise. I prefer to read the paper at my kitchen table rather than having to depend on the Internet.
