Madonna dropped in on Israeli President Shimon Peres in Jerusalem last week, just in time to wish him a happy New Year.
The two exchanged gifts, The Associated Press reported, and the Material Girl named herself an “ambassador for Judaism.”
Madonna is in Israel for a Kabbalah conference.
