He may be an award-winning journalist and host of one of the longest-running talk shows in television history, but Larry King is proving that he’s really just a nice Jewish boy from Brooklyn.

King will make an appearance as a guest on Chabad’s annual “To Life” telethon, airing live September 9. The show will help raise money to provide educational and social services for the needy. Past telethon participants have included such celebs as Bob Dylan, Whoopi Goldberg, Adam Sandler and Martin Sheen.

Your font is hard to read unless one chooses the Text Size "Larger" option, a time-consuming but mandatory step in order to comfortably read an article in its entirety.
